A full week of work

The updated meetings schedule (N 1709) brings all working groups together around the plenary:

  • 31 Aug — Plenary opening session (9:00–10:30), followed by JWG 1, WG 2 and SG 1 in the afternoon

  • 1 Sep — JWG 9 (UNTDED work) and WG 6 (trusted communications)

  • 2 Sep — WG 7 day session (digital business), plus the social programme in the evening

  • 3 Sep — TC-level projects meeting (including the path forward for ISO/PWI 26087 after the first NP ballot) and WG 5 (date and time)

  • 4 Sep — (J)WG reports to the plenary in the morning, closing session from 14:30

The agenda

The updated draft agenda (N 1711) discusses items 1–11 on 31 August — from the management report with a full round of ballot results through to a new item 11: a presentation of the research project "Rising Standards Powers in Global Technical Standard-Setting" by Professor Sarah Eaton and Mr Nicolas Huppenbauer.

Items 12–23 follow on 4 September: working group reports, liaison reports, strategic review of the Business Plan, and the approval of resolutions.

Social programme

On Wednesday evening (2 September), the committee is invited to an exclusive evening tour of Zoo Berlin — just across the street from the DIN building. Meet at 18:30 at DIN; the tour starts at 19:00. Afterwards, everyone interested can continue to the nearby Biergarten "Café am Neuen See".

Registration for the social event is via the ISO meeting platform.
