Liaison Updates

MoU/MG Update — 07/08 December Meeting

  • The following resolutions were approved that are relevant to ISO/TC 154:

    • Resolution 16/12 — MoU/MG notes the work on the ISO 8000 data quality series of standards and encourages its participating organisations, especially ISO/TC 46, ISO/TC 154, ISO/TC 215, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 32, and UN/ECE, to explore their respective requirements, to take advantage of liaison opportunities, and coordinate as appropriate with ISO/TC 184/SC 4/WG 13.

    • Resolution 16/18 —  MoU/MG noted the presentation on preliminary work item “StreaM” submitted to ISO/TC 154 and recommends that the concepts be circulated among the chairmen of ISO/TC 184, IEC/TC 65, ISO SMCC and IEC/SEG 7, for advice and feedback to the leadership of ISO/TC 154.

    • Revised Resolution R15/02 (taken ISO/TC 154’s Resolution 2016-13 ‘_Distribution of approved NWIP_‘ in to account) — All MoU/MG organizations are requested to distribute brief descriptions of all their relevant, proposed, preliminary and new work items via the MoU/MG mailing list. MoU/MG recommends that all relevant approved new work items from the MoU/MG members shall be disseminated to the MoU/MG mailing list for information and possible action at the earliest stage.
